Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Bio
Abruzzo, in the heart of the province of Chieti, between the Maiella massif and the Adriatic Sea.
Hilly with an average altitude of 250 metres above sea level, with mostly calcareous clay soil.
From March, the year after vinification.
VINIFICATION AND REFINEMENT
Maceration of the skins at controlled temperature and refinement in stainless steel tanks.
Intense ruby red colour with violet shades. Extensive, intense nose of ripe red fruits with subtle hints of spices. Excellent structure, full, soft, well-balanced and lingering.
FOOD AND WINE PAIRINGS
Cured meats, starters and cheeses, grilled and roast meat, vegetable soups, pasta with tomato sauce and roasts.
