Intense ruby red color with violet reflections. Ample aromas of ripe red fruit, floral notes of violet and rose and fine sweet spicy notes. Excellent structure, warm, full and rich in fruity notes.

An ideal companion to typical Mediterranean cuisine, it goes very well with first courses with meat sauces and grilled red and white meats. Excellent with various medium-aged cheeses.

GRAPES
Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 90%, Sangiovese 10%

PRODUCTION AREA
In the heart of the province of Chieti, between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea.

GROUND
Hilly, with medium altitude of 230 metres above sea level, prevalently clay and limestone.

WINE-MAKING AND AGEING
Pressing and long maceration on the skins at a moderate temperature, 27-29 ° C, with delicate pumping over and delestage. Maturation for 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels. Aging for at least 12 months in the bottle.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS

FOOD AND WINE PAIRING
