PRODUCTION AREA

In the heart of the province of Chieti in Abruzzo, between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea.

TERRAIN

Hilly, with an average altitude of 230 metres above sea level, with mostly calcareous clay soil.

PERIOD OF COMMERCIALIZATION

January/February of the year following the one of the harvest.

VINIFICATION AND REFINEMENT

Soft pressing and fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.

SENSORY CHARACTERISTICS

Yellow with pale yellow hues, it has an intense fruity aroma with floral notes, dry taste, but with a balanced bouquet and a slightly bitter after-taste. It should be served fresh at a temperature of 10 °C.

FOOD AND WINE PAIRINGS

Classic wine for fish dishes and pasta. Excellent with seafood, but also pairs with delicate meat dishes. Excellent with starters or as an aperitif.
