GRAPES

PRODUCTION AREA
In the heart of the Chieti province, between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea.

SOILS
Hilly vineyards, at an average altitude of 230 metres above sea level, with predominantly clay-limestone soils.

VINIFICATION AND AGING
Short cold maceration of the crushed grapes, gentle pressing, and fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
Deep pink in color with light violet hues that evolve into salmon tones during bottle ageing. Broad and elegant aromas with notes of cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry, combined with delicate floral notes and hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is structured yet well balanced by its fresh acidity.

FOOD PAIRINGS
Cured meats, pizza, white and red meats, grilled vegetables, fish stew, tripe, and fresh cheeses.

ALCOHOL CONTENT
12,5% alc./vol.
