PRODUCTION AREA
In the heart of the Chieti province, between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea.

SOILS
Hilly vineyards, at an average altitude of 230 metres above sea level, with predominantly clay-limestone soils.

VINIFICATION AND AGING
Fermentation in stainless steel, followed by long skin maceration at controlled temperature. Aged for 12 months in stainless steel tanks and 12 months in Slavonian oak casks.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
Deep ruby red with intense violet hues. Broad and intense aromas of ripe red fruit, with subtle spicy notes and nuances of raspberry, blueberry, and liquorice. Excellent structure, full-bodied, smooth, balanced, and long-lasting.

FOOD PAIRINGS
Ideal with traditional Mediterranean cuisine, excellent with first courses featuring meat-based sauces and grilled red or white meats. Perfect with medium-aged cheeses.
