Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo

Cherry red in colour with bright hints of violet. Intense, fruity nose with delicate hints of flowers, banana and sour cherry. Good structure, soft, fresh and balanced.

Perfect with cold cuts, pizza, fish soups, white meat, fresh cheeses and vegetables. Excellent as an aperitif.

GRAPES
A selection of native red grape varieties.

PRODUCTION AREA
Abruzzo, in the heart of the province of Chieti, between the Maiella massif and the Adriatic Sea.

TERRAIN
Hilly, with an average altitude of 250 metres above sea level, with mostly calcareous clay soil.

SELLING PERIOD
From January, the year after vinification.

VINIFICATION AND REFINEMENT
Short cold maceration, soft pressing and fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.

SENSORY CHARACTERISTICS

FOOD AND WINE PAIRINGS
