PRODUCTION AREA
In the heart of the province of Chieti, between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea.
GROUND
Hilly, with medium altitude of 230 metres above sea level, prevalently clay and limestone.
WINE-MAKING AND AGEING
Soft pressing and low temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks, 16-18 ° C. Aging on the fine lees without bâtonnage for about 4-5 months before bottling
SENSORY CHARACTERISTICS
Straw-yellow with golden notes. Aroma of yellow fruit blend together with floral and balsamic notes. Savoury taste, with good structure and lingering length.
FOOD AND WINE PAIRING
Excellent with the cuisine based on fish, it matches well also with delicate meat-based dishes and with vegetables. Very good with hors d’oeuvres and as aperitif.
