PRODUCTION AREA
In the heart of the province of Chieti in Abruzzo, between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea.
TERRAIN
Hilly, with an average altitude of 230 metres above sea level, with mostly calcareous clay soil.
VINIFICATION AND REFINEMENT
Soft pressing and low temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks, 16-18 ° C. Aging on the fine lees without bâtonnage for about 4-5 months before bottling.
SENSORY CHARACTERISTICS
Straw yellow with greenish reflections, it has an intense, fruity aroma with subtle floral notes. Dry and slightly almond finish with excellent balance between fruit and fresh acidity.
FOOD AND WINE PAIRINGS
Classic wine for fish dishes and pasta. Excellent with the cuisine based on fish, but it matches well also with delicate meat-based dishes. Very good with hors d’oeuvres and as aperitif.
